So, Sizenuss: what’s in a name?

So who is this Sizenuss character? A number of years ago, I created some imaginary character concepts, loosely inspired by the idea of spirits — or ‘Loas’ — from Voodoo. I did some automatic writing and came-up with about ten or so ‘Beings’, complete with names, traits and behaviors (largely nebulous and indistinct). New mythical creatures from my unconscious, so to speak.

Sizenuss is one such Being. Other names include Magbra, twins Beeno and Beena, Beng Beng, Imposs, Hister, and Spirus. Shortly afterwards, I recorded a series of songs, including one called “So says Sizenuss”, that today sound to me very inspired. I thought I’d call forth these Beings as companions for my current ventures. Perhaps these personalities will further show their colors, sounds and smells(?!) over time, perhaps not. Regardless, welcome all.

UPDATE: I’ve since remembered the names of Scribnus, Caloona, Nando and Netro.
