PS2? BFF!

odd-n-end

I find those self-playing song files on most myspace.com pages to be annoying as hell — yet another reason I consider it the vast middle school of the internets. “Dood, this song iss SO [crunk/sick/sweet/dope/whack/smooth/hawt] Ima gonna MAKE ya listen ta it! Wha?” Nevermind I’m—like most visitors—already listening to something. Newbie homepage design tip: Just because you can do something, doesn’t mean you should; think about the user. “Wha?” Alternate, make-lemonade-out-of-lemons tip for the rest of us: open several myspace homepages across multiple browser tabs for your own poorman’s megamix! ROTFLOL!

I should have known it would take someone like Ricky Gervais (The Office, Extras) to get me to subscribe to my first podcast. I love how Gervais and comedy partner Stephen Merchant banter, wisecrack and scream with their deadpan producer, Karl Pilkington: Ricky Gervais podcast at Guardian Unlimited.
