Is it possible to get paid for browsing My Recommendations on Amazon.com and adding items to my Wish List? If so, I think I’ve found my new career.

Another year older, a new self-portrait. My previous image was taken so long ago it seems like another life, so I thought I’d update me mugshot. In other news, I’m more than half done with Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrel, and lovin’ every magical page. We hosted a casual wine-tasting/get-together this weekend, and I’m a new fan of Chardonnay now. Jack’s smiling a lot these days and even laughed for the first time last week. Coke Blak is the new, well, black. Werd.
