I’m playing another live session this evening at Unwind. In the past few weeks I’ve also stepped-up my repertoire with more abstract beats, improvised melodies and jazz-ish rhythms. Have a listen to Live Session, 2010-08-04 and Live Session, 2010-08-05.
I’ve taken a different approach to writing new material as of late, shifting from individual tracks to extended live sessions. Recent recordings Live practice session, 2010-06-13, Bit Flip v.01, and Midnight Run v.01 are examples of this more free flowing and improvisational style. With that, I’m excited to announce I’ll be playing semi-regular live sets this summer at Unwind, on the patio at CS3. The first event is on Friday, June 25, and my set is from 8-10 p.m. Subscribe via RSS, Atom or ’Like’ Nofi on Facebook for event details and updates. UPDATE: RSVP for the event on Facebook.
